In May 2025, students of the International Relations Study Program at Diponegoro University experienced two significant moments in their academic journey: the Yudisium and the 178th Graduation Ceremony for the May 2025 period. These two ceremonies marked the official completion of studies for 24 undergraduate students from the Department of International Relations, 18 of whom successfully achieved the cumlaude distinction.
The Yudisium for International Relations students of FISIP UNDIP was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM WIB, at the 3rd Floor Auditorium of FISIP UNDIP. This event served as a warm farewell between the students and the academic community. A key moment in this ceremony was the shifting of the graduation tassel by the Dean of FISIP as an official symbol of graduation.
The event also included speeches from the Dean of FISIP, a representative of the parents, and messages and impressions from the graduating student representative. One of the most touching moments occurred when the Dean offered a time for reflection, during which students were invited to directly express their gratitude to their parents who were present. This tradition has become a hallmark of the FISIP UNDIP Yudisium, which emphasizes warmth and a sense of family within the academic atmosphere.
Two days later, the graduates participated in Diponegoro University’s 178th Graduation Ceremony for the May 2025 period, which took place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM WIB at the Muladi Dome UNDIP. The graduation ceremony was marked by the official inauguration by the Rector of Diponegoro University, along with speeches from the Rector and a representative of the graduates. The main highlight of this event was the moment when the graduates shook hands directly with the Rector of UNDIP, symbolizing the official and meaningful recognition of their academic achievements.
