Lecturer Research

The International Relations Study Program at FISIP UNDIP continuously promotes a strong research culture among its faculty members as part of its commitment to academic development and meaningful contributions to global issue resolution. The primary focus of research is directed toward the dynamics of international cooperation and the handling of transnational and international crimes across social, political, economic, and security aspects.

Research Focus

Lecturers in the International Relations Study Program actively conduct research focused on strategic issues such as transnational crime, foreign policy, conflict resolution, environmental diplomacy, and international criminology. These studies not only enrich academic discourse but also provide tangible contributions to public policy and international advocacy.

Integration of Learning and Research

Learning content such as Globalization and Transnationalism, Maritime Crimes, and Comparative Foreign Policy serves as a foundation for applied research. Students are also encouraged to participate through research assistantship programs to deepen their analytical and scientific methodological skills.

Collaboration and Academic Networking

Research conducted by International Relations faculty is open to interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration, both nationally and internationally. Through strong networks, research findings are published in reputable academic forums and contribute to global academic discourse.

Ethics and Academic Professionalism

All research activities are conducted with a strong commitment to academic ethics, professionalism, and accountability. This aligns with the program’s mission to cultivate an academic community that excels not only in knowledge but also in integrity in every scholarly work.
