Semarang, June 13, 2024 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) received a visit from Oorlogs Graven Stitching (OGS) to explore cooperation in various fields. The activity which took place in the BRM Antawirya Conference Room was attended by Oorlogs Graven Stichting representatives, the Deputy Dean for Resources of Undip’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Head of Undip’s Department of International Relations, Lecturers, and Students of the International Relations Department at FISIP Undip.
In her remarks, the Head of the Department of International Relations welcomed the visit of OGS and expressed the hope that the collaboration that would be built could provide benefits for both parties. Ms. Evelyn, the Director of OGS Semarang, also expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to collaborate with FISIP Undip.
The cooperation proposed by FISIP Undip to OGS includes integration of in-class activities, joint research and book publishing, internships and thesis writing, book and film reviews, and discussions with youth communities that partner with OGS. OGS gave a positive response and was willing to further discuss the details of the collaboration.
During the event, Undip’s International Relations students also had the opportunity to share their experiences and provide input to the OGS. OGS representatives also explained the programs that will be held in the future.
This activity ended with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photo session. FISIP Undip hopes that this collaboration can provide benefits for academic development, research, and public relations in the fields of humanitarianism and peace. Dr. Reni Windiani, as the head of the Department of International Relations, hopes that collaborative work like this will be more solid in the future. So that it has a positive impact on many parties.
